i continued reading all the stuff by bruce lambert on the nafka site and decided to continue working with the basf plan ... it was time to build a fighter with a bamboo spine and carbon fiber bow ...

while digging through some old drawings, i found a few sheets of rice paper ... i have had them for almost 30 years! ... there’s no spraying water on glass to keep this skin flat!

i took a few pics of flying flags with my digital camera and the hand painted the blowing flag image onto the skin ...

as is usual, i made a few mods, and left the spine sticking out beyond the nose and tail by about 10mm ... hoping that it will survive a little longer ...
